Freeze Family Fun

On Thanksgiving weekend Diana and I had the pleasure of making a sweet Mama's birthday wish come true.  

Everyone, meet Mama Freeze and her "kids!"

 

To celebrate this sweet lady's birthday we had ourselves an EXTRA LARGE family shoot!  Complete with 17 family members!

We had a hilarious time with this family doing everything we could to catch the attention of the 5 precious grandkids.  My favorite shots were the ones with the grandparents- primarily because the 4 sets of parents were hilarious to watch as they tried to get their kids to smile!

Good times were indeed had by all.

And I couldn't close without thanking the Lord for 3 very special Freeze's...

Trevor, Beth and Isaac are such a blessing to me and to my family.  Beth and Trevor have walked alongside us this year as we have both waited for the Lord to bring us our babies... they have understood and empathized with our feelings on this roller coaster ride of adoption.  

And now, by God's grace, our prayers have been answered and baby Isaac has joined their family!  I am so grateful for their friendship and look forward to introducing Isaac to our Ruthie when she comes home!

Ryan is 2!

Recently I had the opportunity to catch up with a High School friend I haven't seen in over twelve years 

(wow, are we really that old?)! 

I was honored when Austin asked me to photograph her unbelievably cute fella to celebrate his second birthday.

Everyone, meet Ryan!

Such a sweet face!!  

Diana and I had so much fun chasing after this little guy during the shoot.  He is FULL TILT, 100% boy!  We ran, we hid, we played in the leaves, we snacked, we tossed a frog around and acted all kinds of silly.  

Good times were had by all!

Meet Miss Chayah!

She's adorable, right?


Miss Chayah is the youngest miracle of two very special friends of ours, Andy and Michelle.  If you haven't heard their beautiful story of infertility, adoption and miracles I encourage you to visit Michelle's blog which begins here.

Now back to Chayah.  Baby girl lives fully up to her middle name JOY.  She's a bundle of giggles and smiles and has the CUTEST nose crinkle (like her Mama).  We decide just a few minutes before her rainbow birthday party to try to capture a picture of her in her very own "hot air balloon" for her special day.  We were limited with location because shade was absolutely necessary (it felt like 100 degrees!) and our backgrounds weren't all that special.  But who needs a special background when you have a baby as cute as this one?

Ok enough of me- onto little Miss Sunshine.
